Anonymous asked: where did you get your prom dress and who did your make-up. You looked so pretty!

Awwwwh! Thanks anon<3 I got my prom dress off this website, but they were super sketchy and I didn’t get my dress till like a month and a half after I ordered it and they would never answer their phones and stuff so I got scared! Hahah. And I got my make-up done at Urban Decay! :D

Anonymous asked: (cont) State Colleges do not care if you do extra summer classes they only want to see that you complete their admission requirements. Cal Poly didn't want 3 different science classes. And, state colleges don't even care about extra curricular stuff, it's not even on their application.

I honestly didn’t think I was going to go to Cal Poly. I really wanted to go to UOP at the time and they wanted 3 science classes. I called and asked them and that’s what they recommended. That’s why I took the class summer of my sophomore year. Now as a senior deciding where to go, Cal Poly was the best option for me and I technically didn’t need that class but it’s all in the past now and I enjoyed taking that class. It helped me a lot in calculus this year!

Anonymous asked: Taking physics at DeAnza which gave you zero credit didn't make any impact on Cal Poly. You could have gotten into Cal Poly without taking that summer class. If you thought UCLA would be impressed, you were mistaken. You would have had to take at least 2 -3 quarters of physics so it would have been equivalent to a high school class. Cole Carter mislead you & so did Ms. Riehl, that's why you need to talk directly to colleges you apply to see how they evluate CC summer classes. (continued)

Anonymous asked: why did you take a physics class w/ Cole Carter at De Anza during the summer? you didn't get high school credit cuz one summer class does not equal a full year's class at high school. What did you gain from it because you didn't even take any physics at FHS. Same goes for Cole Carter, why did he take the class because he took the easier AP bio route senior year and did AP chem as a junior just like you.

I took it because colleges like to see that you have taken all three science classes in high school. I didn’t want to take physics in high school because I wanted to do AP Chem and AP Bio because I like them a lot more and I really don’t like physics. So I would rather take it over the summer so that colleges see that I took the class. I didn’t care that I wasn’t getting high school credits because I didn’t need the extra credits :)
